Re: KFC in Savacentre grounds?
Sorry, back off topic again... No , more a "gangsta", gang thing normally associated with wearing of trousers half way down ones arse too. I heard recently that the trousers worn low comes from American prisons that means the wearer is up for some "back door action"...always make...

Re: Antic pubs have withdrawn from the Greyhound
Oh no, another supermarket? Sainsbury's? Pah, what we need is a bookies/nail bar/chicken shack... We will never get an M&S or Waitrose because the high street is not exactly a nice place to shop at the moment, Sainsbury's is a really positive step and may encourage other big players to start to ...

Re: Evading the fares at the station
Even if the gates are manned the staff don't seem to be all that bothered, I have seen people "tail-gate" right in front of them and the staff don't bat an eye-lid. Half the time the disabled access gate is wide open and people just stroll through, the staff seem more concerned with huddli...

Re: Begging in Sydenham Road
This isn't anything new, I was asked for money from the woman at least 2 weeks ago and previously have been asked for money by a guy who was watching his dog lay an egg in the alleyway outside the station. Isn't there a hostel up near the police station somewhere?

Yellow Board
Does anyone know what the yellow sign on the corner of Maitland Road and Leonard Road relates to? It says there was a fatal collision on 13th Jan and 11:20pm which seems strange as my wife and I walked past this spot at 11:45pm and there was no sign of anything out of the ordinary...

James Campbell living at Bayes Close, off Lawrie Park Road, is the 29 year old man charged with GBH How is returning with a knife and using it GBH?? Why do people have to die before the criminals are charged with something serious enough to get some decent jail time, it seems to me this is attempte...

Re: The pub on the kirkdale roundabout
I'm confused...Antic have said they are taking it, the only mention of Waitrose and M&S as far as I can see are from people wishing they would take the space (in fact I seem to remember some members emailing them and both of these companies saying they had no plans to take this space on) so how ...

Planning permission required - doing up a flat?
Just to add that if you fail to get planning regs involved you may not be able to sell it at a later date as most solicitors will insist on seeing the approval, as has been said get building control in early, they are usually very helpful.

LA Fitness
I used to go to LA Fitness up until last year, was ok except the changing rooms were always pretty dirty and smelled of damp, and the pool is tiny. I only paid around £30 a month which is cheap compared to other places.

The Restaurant that can't make up it's mind.
I used to go there regularly, the food was always excellent and they would get a belly dancer in on a Saturday. It was a great loss when it closed but the owners were getting on a bit and I think they simply retired back to Turkey.

I don't know why you thought this was a Chinese baldness herb shop...it looks pretty good if you ask me, has a good range of products and knowledgeable staff. It's one of the shining beacons in the high street!

Why is giving the station a lick of paint taking so long? Each week they manage to paint one lamp post and that's about it.

I got one of these as well, it basically asked if there was a problem with parking and if a residents parking scheme was required, I answered no for both points

Anyone know what was being filmed last night in Sainsburys Sava Centre? The had cordoned off the beer and frozen food aisles which was very inconvenient!
