Re: Noise in Lower Syd last night
The anti-social behaviour in the early hours was from the Hazel Grove estate and the music stopped at 3.15am followed by the noise of people leaving the party. I have raised a complaint with the police as the 101 number was not answered and asked Lewisham Homes to look at these neighbour disturbanc...

Well still sounds great idea but wondering I Health and safety would query as roundabout surrounded by traffic?Pat Trembath wrote:My mistake and maybe wishful thinking. The Paxton roundabout is looked after by Southwark Council contractors - and very well they do it too!

Re: Degradation of Sydenham Road
I regularly report flyposters to Fix My Street plus various other things that I notice when walking round. I have also suggested to a number of traders that they might remove fly posters when outside their shops. Some do! I can't organise a monthly walk round simply because I am away from Sydenham s...

Thank you Pally, the point about anonymity was in relation to serious accusations made against me, and was certainly not intended for you. Anyone who participates constructively can use a pseudonym without it being an issue. I would welcome you and Stuart commenting on the official list of planning...

Re: Fairlawn Park: road and pavement remodelling
It is helpful to have this information now. Certainly the information should have been shared and consulted on. Hopefully residents can now respond as they see fit and hopefully the plans will improve safety etc

Thanks Stuart. ... The build goes on, I am still being woken by heavy machinery from 6.30 am, and you think this is ok. That is your privilege .... I think that eloquently makes the point I was trying to make. Look at what you wrote. Do you have any evidence for it? Do you really believe it? Do you...

Re: St Philip Neri Meeting - Thursday 19 July 7pm
Schools are included, and OLSPN is a publicly funded school. If you are correct that they are exempt, that would be a good reason to not comply. What shocked me was that they didn't acknowledge my application, and state their reasons for not sending the information. That is just rude. Not sending a...

Re: St Philip Neri Meeting - Thursday 19 July 7pm
Decanting or not decanting the school is a decision for the school leaders/governors/ local authority and Diocese to make and should not, in my view, be discussed as part of a campaign about the building! It is for them to decide the arrangements re the children, not the community!

Well good but does it say what will then go on space? I am so confused now about the options frankly ..Aldi; flats; some sort of play something or other; museum; car park; ....?? I favour affordable flats!

Been to Nandos with family! Not bad! Lots of decent healthy options alongside a decent wine list alongside healthy chicken options as well as OTT ones. It was ok and I was pleasantly surprised! It will be an asset to developing Sydenham in my view!

Re: Why high streets die
It’s a bit of a long shot if we’re talking about Bell Green to bother mentioning any other train station other than Lower Sydenham, and any other bus routes other than the 194,181, 202, 356, 352 and 450, the 75 would be pushing it, and 197 doesn’t even come close. Maybe the low rating is because Be...
