There is a nice split in Sydenham's Estate Agents. Two (Mann & Your Move) are part of nationwide chains while the others are small and local to the South East London property market. Local knowledge is particulary important in Sydenham where the houses and flats are very varied in price and character and where the market is split between sale and rental.

Sydenham & Lewisham may be the unfashionable part of London - but that gives the benefit of amongst the cheapest prices in London for a wide range of attractive property with fast train services to central London and the soon the tube.
