Sydenham could soon have its own community radio
station.
At present, a small group of local people are
developing plans to make this idea a reality. If plans are successful it will
mean local artists, writers, campaigners, historians, home-schoolers and
cookery fanatics will have the chance to broadcast their ideas on air or
online.
The project is still in need of those with radio skills
(presenters, reporters and producers) and those with with start-up skills
(entrepreneurs, strategic planners and fundraisers). The project also needs
those people who just want to be part of an exciting community project and are
willing to help out in any way they can.
Lewisham gave the project £2,000 to consult and
evaluate the need for a radio station. The project urgently needs your
