Re: 154-158 Sydenham Road

I have received a message from Admin to say that I am being 'most unpleasant to JRW and that I need to edit my posted comments or I will be banned'

I will therefore not bother to post on Sydenham Town Forum any more.

Re: 154-158 Sydenham Road

Stuart - not sure how the Syd Soc works.

If you join them, do you get a chance to voice your opinion or do they have an 'internal committee' who decides on the planning application reviews and suggestions to LBL?

I may be wrong, but I was in the car park today and I think that they are putting parking fee machines in.

Re: Bell Green Gas Holders - Proposal to Demolish in April 2

Stop posting inflammatory information which is not helping you at all.

All the different posts that you have made on school, Hillcrest Estate and Bell Green have information that you have twisted, which does not help the cause of any of these topics. It just puts people off

Gosh a lot of people medalling.

I love history and all that surrounds it but the gas holders serve no purpose and need to be removed.

The museum is a great idea and should be in The Livesey.

Lets get rid of the gas holders!

Brent Knoll old school on Mayow Road was not in a fit state to be used, which is why the children did not move into it.

Re: The Monstrosity - ie St Philp Neri school building

Think I am missing something.

The top picture is Phase 1 and completed.

The bottom picture is Phase 1 and Phase 2. The building to the left in the second (drawing) photo is Phase 2 has not been built yet.

What am I missing? Phase 1 does not look much different than the drawing.

Re: The Monstrosity - ie St Philp Neri school building

Getting a bit lost with this ! The new building that is completed and occupied by the children, has been approved by planning and as far as I am aware the planning has not been withdrawn. Surely nothing can be done with this now? I understood that is was the second building that has yet to go up has...

I think that its the second new building that is going up that has the planning withdrawn, not the first new building.

Re: Syd Society help request for pavement opposite library?

I have had many conversions with them, some are nice conversions, some are awful. They are nice lads. They have plenty of trade so its a gold mine I imagine, but just not the right location for this type of business. They do not keep the site clean and tidy and constantly block the entrance/exit to ...
