Re: Milverton House, Perry Hill

Hi Glenn - If you're a Facebook user, there's a great group on there for this sort of thing... It's called "Catford and Lewisham - way back when..." and here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/435277893269381

I'm pretty sure if you post in there you'll find some people who remember you!

Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

You know what JGD, Chris Beach makes out that it's just a tiny handful of people who are vocal about this, like you and me, that have problems with him and his modus operandi. And that we're the "trolls", he's a victim. Does he really believe that? Because I'll tell you what, I've had messages from ...

Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

Heard confirmation from multiple other sources that Mr Beach, not only now as Censor-in-Chief-for-Forest-Hill but also Chief Snitch on SE23.life had written to NR demanding confirmation that Nathan Bowen had the requisite permissions from the site owner, despite Mr Beach's recent online denial that...

Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

This time a repeat of an attack by him on the work of Nathan Bowen on Perry Vale suggesting it is "questionable" He went running to Network Rail and Global to snitch on Nathan (questioning whether Nathan had sought permission). Oh but conveniently "doesn't remember" contacting Network Rail  F...

Re: New leisure contract for Lewisham?

Still shrouded in secrecy, but looks like something's happening on 19 August: "Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by Councillor Andre Bourne, the Mayor and Cabinet agreed the recommendations as set out in the report by 7-0. The decision will become effective on 19 Au...

Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

Thanks for bringing this to my attention JGD. I do a post on this thread expressing my astonishment at the way various SE23.Life contributors are embarrassing and incriminating themselves, and he launches into this attack! I really don’t want to have to go back to the police about her behaviour, but...

Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

Astonishing threads. Absolutely nothing - Nothing - has changed in 4 years. What a thoroughly decent job they're all doing of embarrassing and incriminating themselves. I could do a line by line, but I really can't be bothered. And I think that most people who've read any of the threads will see it ...

Sainsbury's Bell Green staff perform a special rendition of "Sunday" for charity

Watch Sainsbury's Bell Green staff perform a special rendition of "Sunday" from Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's hit musical "Sunday in the Park with George". The performance - organised by Alex Parker, a musical director and current employee at the Sainsbury's Sydenham store - was the climax of ...

SydSoc ? Are you sure ?
I *think* but I'm not sure. Quite possible that it could just be Network Rail. He's not involved as I understand it, but @JMLF may have more info?

Re: Mural?

Network Rail is paying for it and I *think* SydSoc is behind it. I've been told that the design was supposed to be shared online somewhere for feedback, but I'm not sure where that is. Just had a quick look on SydSoc Facebook page and website but couldn't see anything there. The mural will be on the...
