Re: The Censor in RTW Speaks Again

I really don’t want to have to go back to the police about her behaviour, but I will if necessary, and this time I will elect to press charges rather than have the police issue a warning as they did last time. I don’t often get here but just dropped by and I see Chris Beach is still demonstrating t...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

This whole business is just one aspect of the Faustian pact that is social media in all its forms. I’m not on Facebook or Twitter; originally this was only because real life’s too short. But since reading The Age of Surveillance Capitalism (link below) I would never use them. It’s not just about the...

Re: Posting images from my Mac

Rachael, it may be that the forum now requires images to be hosted externally, and you need to provide the url between the img tags. @admin could tell us. If so and you don’t have an image hosting account, I could help by hosting it if you like. That’s how I posted images in t’other thread. Not sure...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

Dick, a number of us feel very strongly ... Your points are very well taken and it’s not for me, as a latecomer to this lengthy business, to get actively involved. I just happened to unexpectedly come by some potentially conclusive evidence of a single bad act. My speculations may have been unhelpf...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

<wild hypothesis 2> Chris made a report to the Met, and maybe they can’t now track it down. We don’t know which Met division he reported to, if he did, so Nicola may have barked up the wrong Met tree, or there is some other explanation why they couldn’t find the report. Met forwarded the report to K...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

The visual evidence above begs a number of questions and invites much speculation, but I really can’t be bothered. The fact remains that Chris’s account is incompatible with information Nicola gained from the police. The only logically possible explanations are: Two police forces are in error regard...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I am hugely relieved for Nicola (whom I don't even know) to hear this news, and sorry that I appear briefly to have been instrumental to Chris Beach in perpetrating an apparent untruth in pursuit of reputational damage limitation by him. My bizarre follow-up theory on the STF thread was thought most...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

Wow, something tells me the spin doctor is spinning wildly out of control now. I have absolutely no doubt the above is completely plausible, and the responses both admitting spite and hurt is the aim, and the childish "never speak to me again" are again completely unsurprising. In fairnes...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I know — I’m still here, but only just. It occurred to me today that I may have unwittingly deceived readers here on Chris Beach’s behalf, and for this reason I quote here an email this evening from me to him, outlining an admittedly ludicrous theory: Chris, I like to believe [the] best of others, b...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I have just received this: . . . So nothing has changed or will change. Life's too short and real life beckons, so I'm out of 'there', also here as I'm not in SE26. I'm sorry this latest monstrous debacle and uncovering of skeletons leaves Chris Beach completely undaunted. Best wishes to all. ETA I...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

. . . . . . I think the game being played is to frame the debate as being between two extreme positions, and appealing to neutrals, people of good judgement, to take a sensible, intermediary position. That is the role Dick is being invited to take on, in the same way that SE23.life mods have been u...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I have just been sent by Chris Beach a photo of the written MPS acknowledgement, dated 17 July, of the crime report he filed with Lewisham Police, who then decided it fell under Kent Police -- so it is now with them. He also forwarded an email acknowledgement from Kent Police. Both the forces' CRNs ...

I don’t think my forum migration suggestion is going to lead anywhere, but I do believe that se23.life can recover, given some TLC from all parties.
