Re: Lockdown Easement: WHO warn the worst is yet to come

I tend to agree with you What we need is proper protection in those food production factories, slaughterhouses, etc where the virus appears to be spreading due to people working in close contact and cold temperatures. Staff should be issued with appropriate PPE eg visors masks etc which must become ...

Re: Lockdown Easement: WHO warn the worst is yet to come

I stopped reading the Daily Mail as all it wants to do is to alarm and frighten people The majority of people who catch the virus don't die Other European countries seem to be coping with local lock downs, the country cannot shut down for ever otherwise we go bankrupt We need to be able to live with...

Re: Older Persons’ Freedom Pass, 60+ Oyster photo card before 9:00am

Many over 60`s are still working and will now have to pay. I feel this is patronising and discriminatory.
This gives the government an excuse to get rid of it altogether.

Thanks for the reminder to be vigilant, I had it happen to me in a pub in Battersea several years ago.
A very cute little girl was used as the distraction.

Re: Masks

I think face coverings should be mandatory on public transport and in confined spaces but not necessarily outdoors. Other European countries are providing masks for people using public transport. Advice from the WHO website states "Currently there is not enough evidence for or against the use of mas...

Re: Activity in old Coop

Sorry but the threat from coronavirus has taken over from climate change The planet can look after itself hence inflicted this virus upon us which I predicted a year ago A lot of good will hopefully come out of this There are too many people trying to be "right on and hip" rather than sincere - all ...

Take away fried chicken shop on the high street

I was shocked this afternoon to see that there were no obvious safe distancing measures being implemented at a well known take away on the high street. There were at least six young men all in at the same time waiting for food. It would appear that some people are still not taking this virus serious...

I don't believe you are. We don't yet know enough about this new virus or how it spreads. Better to be safe than sorry

I saw four guys on motorbikes this afternoon racing up Sydenham Road performing acrobatics - total idiots - and then returning back down Sydenham performing once more and making a lot of noise
They were taking advantage of empty streets it beggars belief

Re: Planetary Disaster Averted - Ozone Layer Healing

About six or more months ago I was in Trafalgar Square and annoyed with the climate change activist mob At that time I said that the planet will take care of itself and the real worry to mankind was new and horrendous viruses as well as antibiotic resistance - I never for a second realised that this...
