Thanks for that admin, as my husband has not stopped telling me I should have got the train. At least I know I probably would not have fared better. The slide down Dog Kennel Hill was an experience I hope to never repeat. The one gritter I saw in five hours did the opposite side of that road.

Call it what you want, I say, but perhaps put some effort into making it look less like the crack den it does now? Even if it was called Sydenham Crack Den, it wouldn't be so bad if just didn't look so horrible.

I went in for a pedicure a few days ago and they did a really good job. I hadn't realised that there was more to it than nails, so it was a good discovery and one I will take advantage of. Very nice people, nice atmosphere in there.

I'm with Sophie, Lokal was amazing - and always busy! It was often really hard to get a table in there. They can't have shut shop because of economics? Something like that, or a Thai, would be amazing.
