Re: Sticky music thread

Help please - identifying this big band sound snippet used on Flamingo Land adverts since 2016 and also the current one. Sky also used it as a background "sample" for its movie and sports themed adverts. Anyone recognise it please? Ta.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dKkTJORNOw I Shazam...

Fix My Streets

Has anyone used the website or App?

I have used both and both times Lewisham and Southwark sorted out the fly tipping within 30 hours, which isn't bad since i reported them on Saturday mornings.

One can take a picture of the mess and send it via the app or website.

I also wonder why the number plate has been hidden.
Incase the initial bike was stolen. If it goes back to the owner, people might accuse that owner of the thefts and face retribution

Re: 20 mph speed limits

Glasgow has a twenty's plenty campaign but I don't think the main bus routes should be 20, so Kirkdale northbound to the mini roundabout with Dartmouth shouldn't be 20, Westwood Hill or Sydenham Hill nope, Wells Park road 20 yes. etc. I am not a car owner and I don't support the persecution of motor...

Re: Sydenham Community Library

I am surprised that there is hardly any mention of our library in any of the regular posts. It isn't on the Artists' Trail and appears to be a forgotten outpost of the Sydenham community. Given all the effort and energy that went into ensuring that it survived at all this seems very surprising. It ...

By the way I voted Lib Dem None at all. Not one. The care aspect the Tories put forward was laughable...

How many Conservative Manifesto pledges were in the Queens Speech - allowing that there will be no 2018 Queens Speech?

Re: Ellie Reeves MP breaks promise

Labour will say anything to get votes; promise free stuff without even considering how to pay for it. Many politicians will, its true. What I would say is that the Labour manifesto was backed by 129 of the world's leading economists - so, to an extent, it must have something going for it at least. ...
