I had my hair cut by Lauren at MasterCutters this past weekend. It was at least as good as the hair cuts I used to get in Covent Garden and half the price.

I don't know the details but saw elsewhere that Mytime Active are planning to tender The Crystal Palace One O'Clock Club.

I've just had some tiling work done by a local tiler, Toby Guest. He was recommended by Topps Tiles in Penge and he did a brilliant job in our kitchen. Great attention to detail, which is what you want from a tiler!

Another vote for. In terms of security, if you're walking down from Sydenham station, there are late opening shops and pubs evenly spaced out along the way so you're not really walking anywhere isolated. Actually, I had a look at their website, assuming you're referring to South East London Nannies, and gave them a ring. It's not spam. Gemma seems genuine and knowledgeable enough. I haven't met her in person but based on that, I'd say she placed the add in the wrong section, is all.

Their stock was incredibly expensive and not very attractive so not a surprise. I've found great vintage stuff at Sydenham Beds - G Plan chests of drawers and the like for a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere.

It's by the railway bridge (Penge East), in the Estate House. They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 to 5.30 and Sundays and Bank Holidays from 10 to 4.00. A stunning new garden centre opened this past weekend in the Alexandra Cottages area in Parish Lane. It's really charming and not only does it sell plants, it also has a shop with vintage homes and gardening items, lovely gifts AND a small cafe with outdoor seating serving proper coffee and homemade...

I walked by the old Premier Snack bar this evening and there were shopfitters working away. Anyone have any idea what's opening up there? At the moment it looks light and neutral.
