kster - May I ask why you think why the Interest rate will "max out" at 6% Our currency is over valued, and the national debt is the highest it's ever been. Speculating on things like interest rates is a dangerous thing, but I'm confident in saying that the current trend is most definitel...

a bit of research shows that a decent 2 bed flat in SE26 has now gone right through the 250k mark Sorry but if you mean that the average (mean or median) price of a decent 2 bed flat is now greater than 250k, IMHO that is incorrect. I would say that most 2 double bed flats in decent condition would...

Well, what can I say - a very though-provoking posting! I must say that Station Approach is hugely improved compared to how it used to be, especially now that it is no longer being used as a tip. I wish you lots of success in finding good tenants. I would fully support the Coffee shop / deli idea. S...

If you tell us the number you are trying to ring we would be able to help you. It should be +44 208 and then 7 digits if its a landline. If its a mobile (cellphone) it would be +44 7 and 9 digits. +44 is the international code. Landlines in Sydenham will always have the local code of 208 and then 7 ...

Great to see another comment on the food available, let's get more of those comments. I have already given feedback on the food that we have eaten there so won't reiterate. Just a quick one on the beer. I have had the Pride, and also the Hooky Bitter, both very good ales which seem to be well kept i...

It's so funny how the simplest question on this thread can be turned back into the discussion on social class  To anser the question, it does seem to be child-friendly in the Dolphin, especially that it is non-smoking, and I guess the garden will be good for kids when its done. Apparently there...

I know I am a newbie to this forum (although I have been a long-time lurker), but it does amaze me how this topic seems to veer off into the whole massive discussion of the class system.... Guess that's a bit cheeky of me to say so, hope I don't get flamed  Back on topic: I would love to know...

Congratulations and some suggestions on the food

I was in TD on Monday evening. We were really impressed by the transformation, especially in such a short timescale - well done to the new owners!! Non-smoking thing is great!! Sydenham is ahead of the game now. Beers were very good, great selection and well kept. Decor is very nice, amazing what de...
