Sydenham plumbing on Kirkdale are very good. They are CORGI registered and from what I can gather they do boilers and plumbing. If you give them a call they might be able to help you find an electrician.
Having recently moved to the area we used MD furnishers for our sitting room carpet. Good quality carpet, great service, more pricey than carpet right in penge but worth it. Michael was very friendly and we had the carpet fitted within the week.
