that would explain why there wasn't very much booze on the shelves when I was in there on Monday night (for the first time), thought it was just badly run!

Anyone who has a problem with foxes can pick up a sonic alarm for around £25. They work automatically, and give out a very loud (but ultrasonic) squark They seem to work, I bought one a few months ago and haven't seen a fox since (they used to congregate in my garden). The downside is that a cat se...

So..we should support restaurants that serve sub standard food? I didn't have the pizza but the people I was with had the Saltimboca (horrible), the meatballs (horrible), and the arrabiatta (horrible), if you can't cook the classic Italian dishes then there is something seriously wrong and the thing...

I went here on Saturday night and I was disapointed, I really wanted it to be good but it isn't.

The service is great but the food is rubbish.

although it would be preferable to force them to move closer to park areas where their dogs can poo to their delight without impinging on the health and safety of people living in densley populated areas like Sydenham Except there are plenty of people who live near parks and use them regularly who ...

Could it possibly be that you shy away from making direct eye contact with them? Or look down to read the paper when they scan the bar to see who needs service? That's the problem, they don't scan the bar to see who is waiting, they all huddle by the coffee machine trying not to catch people's eye!...

I think the Dolphin is so nearly there but it lets itself down on a number of fronts: - service is terrible, I often have to wait 10 minutes to get served even if it's virtually empty - the staff never smile, ever - the food menu is plain weird, not sure a chef is needed to put cheese on a bit of wo...

I agree totally, cycling in London is dangerous and they are very vulnerable BUT it's a choice they make, it doesn't give them the right to then make a pedestrians journey unsafe. I don't think it helps that most cyclists don't know how to ride safely and take stupid risks.

Cyclists often harp on about safety being the reason they cycle on the pavement, jump lights, fail to stop at zebra crossings, etc but they are talking about their safety and ignore the safety of pedestrians. It seems odd that these same people are riding bikes without brakes, fixed gear I think it'...

Please do not poison them as they really are harmless and they are more frightened of you then the other way round.
They are incontinent and leave trails of urine and droppings wherever they go and spread diseases, that alone is a good enough reason to poison them.

When I last had mice I discovered by accident that they love Nutella so I crushed up some poison and mixed it in and left bits of bread lying about with chocolatey poison liberally spread all over. 2 days later and my kitchen resembled a "mouse Somme".

Well they came today and chopped the trees back, it is quite drastic in comparison but the trees are still there. A point that has been overlooked is that the signs went up yesterday sometime after midday and the work commenced at 8am this morning, hardly a great deal of notice. I'm sure if I had be...
