Some tree works signs have appeared in Maitland Road (on Alexandra Park?) saying major works are going to happen, anyone know what these works are or are they normal each year?

Newlands Park needs some lines down the centre so those people who have no spacial awareness know that the whole road doesn't belong to them. Could also do with a speed camera there.

I must say I find this forum well balanced and as Admin says most threads generally give both points of view.

I am also a member of Virtual Norwood which has a policy of removing any thread that it deems derogatory which I find ludicrous when the thread is a review of a restaurant/bar/pub/business.

Has LA Fitness got any better since this thread?

Also how much is it and are you tied into a 12 month contract? I need to find a gym but I'm not prepared to pay the £100+ per month that people like Virgin Active are charging.
