I had sunday dinner there a couple weeks ago for the first time. I ordered two oxfordshire beef roasts and at over a tenner each you'd expect to be spot on. Just before I blast (have a go at) a Virgin Media call worker, has anyone else experience problems with their Virgin cable/broadband. Mine has been up and down for the last month, before that it had been working fine for over a year. I live in the peak hill area.

I was travelling from sydenham today at 8:30 to Shadwell (zone 2-3 peak). The cost on a oystercard was 1.80, but if you look on the tfl website on the ELL fares page it will be 1.30 a saving of 50p per journey or 40% less. Has anyone else noticed this or is this a typo

for personal reasons, yes I have to move, but I do love living in Sydenham

are you sure? just looked like a glorified bus shelter this morning, with no ticket barriers or machines.

I walked past there on the way home from work and have a sneaky suspicion that it will become an Afro-Carribean barbers, but again it's only my thoughts

I'm not feeling optimistic as to what it will become. The workmen there at the moment finished building what looked like a 'waiting' bench, one of those ones that you get at a barbers.

So I guess it may become a barbers, but that's just my guess.

does anyone know what the shop next to the Greyhound will be? It's used to be called something like Hakan (sp?) and was open for about a week before it closed

I've had the same problem with the Tip site in New Cross, there's a youngish African bloke that runs it I think and everytime I go there to offload rubble sacks from renovating my house, he's always interogating and and turning me away, saying that I have to get this commerically disposed of. So now...

you could just buy a satellite signal checker, they're about a fiver on ebay, just plug it into the F-connector and see it you get a good signal.

I also agree with Ben, the greyhound has been derilect for too long something has to be done. The plans for it aren't that great but they're sufficient. I don't think Sydenham is overpoulated, judging from the high street on a saturday it's hardly bustling
