I must say, I've never understood why some people like to have music is loud that you cannot have a conversation. Even if you want to dance music doesn't need to be overpoweringly loud. So, why do some people insist on excess decibels?

The police have no powers to deal with noise complaints. Call the council: they have the statutory responsibility to investigate. Mormead Road is really on the Bellingham Estate: a large sprawling 1920's(?) development. It does have some issues around anti social behaviour etc. but, then again, what areas don't.
