Re: DRAGONFLY YOGA SYDENHAM OPENING
For those interested they have just added a few new rewards - one of which is for discounted 12 session pass for Yoga/Pilate/Meditation sessions at Sydenham.
Ps: Much like yourself doesn’t change how excited I am by the studio/space/project but yep bit on the big side that.

Dragonfly yoga high street crowdfunder/project
Just thought would pop up a few things regarding the new high street yoga studio’s project. I think* (though don’t quote me on this!) that the studio will be opening in part but the ongoing not-for-profit business is looking for a boost to the project to transform the whole massive space into more f...

Re: Current state of the property market in Sydenham
I think the article probably did no harm and had some half decent pictures however the content was pretty uninspiring as I previously said and can’t imagine throngs if people are suddenly going to start looking at/coming to the area. Property prices and what people want I guess is so different for d...

Re: Current state of the property market in Sydenham
Apart from inaccuracy (Alexandra cottages are in Penge and I could be wrong but if it’s where I think it is Albion villas is FH maybes?) I thought the weirdest thing was how little there was about the actual shops/events/activities. A huge proportion was taken up by the history of Sydenham which was...

Coffee and cheese toastie mornings! at Ignition
Ignition are trialling a coffee morning (with cheese toasties) on Thursday mornings from 9-12 aimed at parents and carers with soft toys etc to be provided for young ‘ins to roll around with. I believe tomorrow is the first one so I’m sure they would love a bit of support but will prob be ironing ou...

Have a wall that needs/wants art? - possible opportunities!
As I assume the sticky for the mural will come down and hardly anyone looks at it as the project is long dead I thought I’d post a little info/contact if anyone has a wall to “donate” to artwork organised by the fabulous LDNcalling and some links to their ongoing work- see below: If anyone is intere...

Re: Any news on Mamma Dough? [opening this weekend!]
Was lucky enough to be @mamma_dough’s soft launch for their 5th branch in #Sydenham. Lovely setting, great staff, amazing olives, garlic bread, pizzas, salads, desserts, booze and coffee. Not confirmed but plan is to open from this weekend Fri-Sun 12-10 and weekdays 4 or 5-10! (Ps: Apologies for the...

Re: Better to order direct from local takeways...
I think I mentioned something vaguely along these lines last year - most takeaways offer 10% discount if you pick up and many offer their own delivery service. Both of these costs I assume outweigh any cut taken by the big delivery companies so if possible I think eating in, picking up or ordering d...
