BTW the location is very near the Dulwich Wood House with its panaromic views over the the West End & City one way and Kent the other. I have been on the top-floor north-facing balcony of Countisbury House and I can confirm the view is stunning. Could the pirate's harmonics been blocking the tr...

It's a pity the business's are looking a gift horse in the mouth, it seems quite silly of them, engaging with local community can only be a good thing. I can't think of any other way to engage the community other than leaving piles of cards in shops or giving them out to commuters! I have no connect...

Inviting business's to join the disscussion

This is probally a stupid idea but.. You know when a business or organisation get discussed on the forum who themselves are not part of the forum. Why dosn't someone send a note around to them inviting them to the party? For the cost of a biro, a piece of paper and some shoe leather it could make th...

I've dragged my spy away from peeping through the letterbox to tell us more, apparently on the pre-opening night they had a couple of Latin dancers doing a demonstration routine, a seven piece R&B band playing and mixture of old and new "skool"(sic) and the inevitable DJ taking them in...

The pub directly above the railway station (I think it is called "the railway") has a sign up saying "rooms to rent, professionals only" sounds like it could be ideal for him.

Okay, As a concerned citizen, I sent a spy there, disguised as the worlds most famous pimp, huggy bear. Sorry to disappoint those interested in "the visual arts" it's not going to be a lap-dancing bar. The club has been bought by a god fearing woman, who is going to turn in into a live-mus...

what kind of cinema are you looking for? There is a cinema club in west norwood which is not far from here, that shows less mainstream films, we also have the ritzy in brixton which has bags of character, indie films and great carrot cake. Given that within a short distance we have off-beat, charact...
