Re: Have you bought your fish this week?

I would love to support Billings but I don't like fish. What else do they do? :?:

Re: Lost Jack Russell Crystal Palace Park Wednesday

Indeed.

I wanted to speak to her a bit more to make sure she was ok but the dog just kept trying to get out of her arms so I said just get the dog home.

Lost Jack Russell Crystal Palace Park Wednesday

Just a word about the Jack Russell that was running in and out of Crystal Palace Park and into the road Wednesday evening. A few of us failed to catch the speedy little dog and she nearly got herself run over many times in Crystal Palace Park Road. I believe 2 cars even collided trying to avoid her....

Torrington Court Police and Fire Engine

Does anyone know what happened the other week at Torrington Court at the top of Crystal Palace Park Road?

The were half a dozen police cars, 3 fire engines and 3 ambulances outside half the night. Also, everyone had been evacuated from the building.

Most of the police stood around for hours chatting in front of the building with the evacuated residents. It couldn't have been that s...

Thanks Simon. Nasty indeed.

I've never seen any trouble around the estates round Seeley rd and had assumed it was fairly free of the crap that seems to blight many of the South London Estates.

Not a good development.

It's just the way your comments come across sometimes. That's the problem with forums, emails and messaging. It's very difficult to determine the tone of a message. :) Turns out it was some some of yoof altercation and someone got slashed with a bottle. Still lots of bobbies around speaking to peopl...

I did ask but he said that he couldn't comment.

I wonder why SouthEastern coudn't tell me that. I made a complaint and I got a load of standard waffle about nothing really. They are a joke

On a similar note for another Sydenham line, does anyone know how the former reliable service from Sydenham Hill to Victoria on which you could always get a seat has, since the timetable change at Christmas, turned into a oft cancelled cattle truck, that by the time it gets to Herne Hill is so packe...
