I live next to the park and have to say that the live band was louder than any other concert I've ever heard there. The windows of the house were vibrating..........

It's about time we imposed proper fines on Utility comapnies for this sort of crap like they do in the US. It's cheaper to pay the low fines here than employ workers on overtime. Give them some incentive to get the work done quickly. It's appalling they can cause such disruption for months on end wi...

A cinema in Crystal Palace would be excellent.

We need another church like we need a hole in the head. Isn't there a rather odd religious group just a little further down the road? I see them walking around dressed in white with bare feet all the time.

Understand what you're saying.

There must be something better than the dreaded humps.

They are particularly awful if one is outside your house. You feel every car that goes over the hump.

Totally disagree guys.

Humps increase noise levels, cause drivers to actually speed up between humps, raise pollution and cause destructive shockwaves for nearbye properties.

Worst invention ever....and they don't work

Lack of consideration in Crystal Palace Park

The weather's lovely. The blossom is out. Crystal Palace Park looks inviting. :D But why do some individuals have such a lack of consideration for the majority enjoying the park? :? I'm talking about you, the idiot filming yourself cracking a whip for hours, a noise that can be heard from one end of...

Thanks for your posting cllr.

Unfortunately, I have phoned the Perry Vale office 3 times and each time someone has said the one down the road from me will be removed.

Surprise surprise - its still there.

In addition, you can see this practise all over London. This isn't a one off.

Someone at the local post office reckoned it was to do with them needing to have some sort of collection box to leave things. Apparently they need planning permission to do this so they leave these trolleys chained to things. Sounds it bit mad to me. Royal Mail need to come into the 20th Century - t...

It's odd.

Unless they get dropped off there with all the post and they load it up. But I've never seen them actually with the trolley when delivering.

Rubbish in the triangle

I'm appalled at the state of the pavement around St. Germains. I feel sorry for them and the other cafe there. It could look so much better. They have to put up with the abandoned toilets eyesore. There is that appalling oval shaped advert display. The council seems to have left some barriers there ...

When i drive down Crystal Palace Park Road past all the grand Victorian villas, the moment I pass under the railway bridge into Penge it seems like I've suddenly gone though some secret garden like gate into Bumtown. There seems to be quite a few roads with good Victorian housing stock in Penge that...

Unfortunately oscar nominations/wins have never been a good indication of film quality- Titanic, Forrest Gump??

You do wonder the kids wasted their money to bother going in at all. Plus where were the cinema staff? O that's rights cinemas are usually staffed by 4 people doing everything.

I also found that Crystal Palace Park Road is listed as Crystal Palace Pk Rd, so try abbreviations too.
