Yes, it has been rubbish for the last couple of months, with at least two day-long outages of both TV and internet.

It was great for the previous two years.

It was more of a rhetorical question. Perhaps I should have been more explicit about that. Simply wishing for something won't make it happen; as you are obviously aware, it is necessary for someone to finance the venture and for someone with entrepreneurial skills to take a risk and set up a busines...

If there are thousands of people out there, all wanting to see a cinema in Crystal Palace, why not put a business plan together, seek funding and make it happen?

You've asked for input, so, although I'm a relative newbie, here's my 2p: £7 is still cheap for 90 mins' football, so I'd prefer to pay the extra and guarantee the bigger pitch. If the kitty reaches the dizzy heights of £70 and we don't need any kit, have a freebie game. By the way, can't make 23rd ...

Hmm, good and bad news; good that funding hasn't been withdrawn, bad that the project seems have slipped by several months already. I'm sure I saw a proposed timetable a few months ago that said work would be starting this summer.

I'm going up to Crystal Palace to check out the Dulwich Paragon Saturday ride tomorrow morning if anyone wants to join. 9am outside Cafe St Germain. I fancy doing a few TTs and found out that you've got to be part of a club to race competitively.

...and if you see someone riding a fetching matte black Felt road bike down Sydenham Road while wearing a drivers'-attention-grabbing Marmite jersey at about 8am, that'll be me. Although I've just fitted some tri bars, so I might stick to the Roadrat in future.

Sorry I had to leave in a rush tonight lads. I pulled a quad and it put me in a crap mood as I'm training for a tri at the moment and it's going to put me back a few weeks. Great game on the big pitch, see you next week if I'm up to it!

Indeed I don't mind at all Greg, in fact I think I've had every possible variation as a nickname at some point. Of course, on those numerous occasions when I shoot at goal and miss, when you're standing on the edge of the box, in loads of space, screaming for a pass, you might want to call me someth...

I'm in for Wednesday. I'll try not to be so greedy second time out, but can't make any promises - that's what happens when you let a keeper out of his area I'm afraid.

OK - do you want a lift BM? I seem to remember dropping you off at Sydenham station some months ago after a game.

It has been a long while since I made it to a game, but my Wednesdays are now free, so I wouldn't mind being a late entry for tonight's match if you end up moving to the 7-a-side pitch.

If you're sticking with the 5's pitch for tonight, I can wait 'til next week.

I would have loved to go, but it clashed with the Turkish GP! Tomorrow's programme at CP doesn't interest me anywhere near as much as today's did.

Someone will now come along and tell me that the GP was shown on a giant screen in the park...

It's great isn't it - I had cause to use the train this morning and, after catching the 0831 Overground expecting to be late for work, I actually got to my desk in Canary Wharf at 9 o'clock and, after touching the pink Oyster readers at Canada Water, the journey only cost £1.30! The only downside is...

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed the debate over the last couple of weeks. Some of you, I must admit, I may have ended up throwing a pint over in a pub if we had discussed it face-to-face If you end up covered in beer, you won the argument ;) Joking aside, the election and its outcome have ...

I suspect so. What I don't understand is why you, as a Labour supporter, find that acceptable? Are you happy that the party you voted for and in which you obviously place a lot of faith have decided to allow those nasty Tories to govern?

He could, and he just has. A little tardy and timed to throw the Lib/Con negotiations.

I don't read any papers ;-)

Well, except Private Eye. Can't wait for the next issue after all this!

If Brown had any dignity, he'd have gone to see the Queen as soon as it became clear that a Lib/Lab deal was a non-starter.
