Oh - I've got it. The Sydenham public convenience does look rather similar to the East German Stasi listening outposts badly camoflauged as an everyday object. It isn't really a toilet. Its got microphones inside and it eavedrops on commuters.

Just seen from se 23 forum that it looks like no trains / Overground beyond New Cross Gate on 4 out of 5 next weekends, starting this weekend. Be sure to go the station on March 14/15th to remind yourself what a train on a weekend looks like!

Not that good sadly. Southern advise Platform 11 is closed for rest of day and there are several train cancellations, and looks like the 06/36 trains from Lon Bridge to West Croyden are cancelled through the evening peak.
