After all the delays let's not anyone get it wrong again. More haste, less speed. What's another few weeks for Lewisham to ensure no further breaches of the 2010 planning permission is adhered to?

A brief update.

There was a site meeting between the owners and Lewisham Building Control last Wednesday. We understand that
Purelake has been asked to make some changes to some of the detailing. They are in the process of doing this and this will be forwarded to Lewisham shortly.

A tree was always planned for this site but before the BT Telephone box was moved it was not possible. The telephone box has now been moved and the plot has been prepared for an autumn planting.

For information from the developers: The pile driving that was being carried out a few days ago was purely exploratory ground works. The piling proper should now be starting in mid Jan, everything just takes so much longer than one hopes! The developers state that they underestimated the implication...
