I use Knighton Motors for MOTs myself, always had good service. Here is an example: when I had an old shape Fiat Punto I had a hole in the lens of the rear brake light. I was expecting to have to have a new lens cluster fitted, which would cost about £60 for the parts, but the guy explained that as ...

Greyhounds always seem to me to be streaky cowardly dogs, who only chase fluffy toys. Alib Sorry not having that slur on on the noble breed! The only breed of dog mentioned in the Bible, featured in ancient Egyptian tomb painitngs and in ancient greek legends; Odysseus kept greyhounds! Greyhound ra...

Back on here in Knighton Park Road at 21.40, missed the football :(
Neighbours remarked at how quiet it was, when the power came back on the air was filled with the sound of vaious alarms. According to BBC there are still "thousands" of people without power.

Coll, you should get a print out that shows your speed, if it says you were over you could ask that the machine's service record be checked. I saw someone working on the cameras yesterday afternoon. I have never seen them flash even when people have been going considerably over the limit.

Got to agree with Mr Chops here. Pizza Express is rubbish in my experience. I've had half decent pizza from some Zizzi's but quality varies from branch to branch. Ive never had a decent one in any Pizza Express, except the one that does live jazz in Dean Street. Aren't people confisuing having a vib...

Get some Komodo clothing; its fair trade, achingly hip and not too expensive!

For help on premises contact our high street manager; Julie Sutch I think her name is. Also you could do worse than attend one of the free seminars hosted by Lewisham Business Advice Service, then perhaps consult one of there caseworkers. Cafes are the most popular type of new business opening in Le...

Savvy, Im not trying to "scrimp" as you put it, just dont want to overpay! The internal doors we currently have are not originals but have tow glazed sections and are big and heavy. My wife doesn't particularly like them and nor do I really but because they are glazed they do let light int...

Would very much like to know how you get on. Its not just downstairs in Victorian houses but upastairs as well; doors too big for any of the major suppliers.
After one for upstairs and am thinking of resorting to Dawes for Doors, but would like a cheaper option.

Yes, thanks Lewisham. We've lost a few on KPR and we asked the coincil to relplace them, backed up by a petittion, and they planted four new ones recently. We lost another in the storm a couple of weeks ago and we've decided if the council wont replace it we'll club together and plant one. Tim, I do...
