Personally, I prefer ATS Euromaster to Kwik Fit. The only problem is, the nearest ATS is in Thornton Heath.

Chazza, I think what you need is a wheel aligmnent rather than wheel balancing - the latter normally carried out when you fit new tyres.

If you are buying the HP or Xerox brand the prices are almost the same at Sainsbury, Rymans, Staples + PC World. Best to wait for when they offer two for the price of one. I bought some HP paper from the Savacentre when they had this offer. I read Lidl do sell their own brand very cheap but I don't ...

I overheard a gas mains workman saying that Crystal Palace Parade is being planned for major gas mains works and that could extend all the way to Westwood Hill/Crystal Palace Park Road.

Got the kitchen sink low cold water pressure sorted out by a plumber. The problem was due to a dislodged U-shaped metal clip on the tap head.

Low Water Pressure - Sydenham Hill Area

In the last 10 days or so I have noticed a substantial drop in my kitchen sink cold water pressure. The cold water here is fed directly from the outside mains. Anyone else has this problem ?

Properties in this part of London are built on clay. Although pre-building regulations built properties are more subceptible, not all cracks indicate subsidence. Theft of number plates, especially, from older cards is quite common recently especially with London's congestion charging.
