Re: Windmill Victory
I am surprised with Wetherspoons do move out of Capitol , unless a lease issue.
Gets very crowded at times. They could easily increase the prices and still be a lot cheaper than competition.
Forest Hill meant to be moving up market so should charge more.
That will save it

Re: Two more shops closed
Syd You are an example of someone killing the High Street. You only used it for food. What about Banks , undertakers , Florists , card shops ETC ETC. I agree with demise of K and B little chance of getting radio or TV. Sydenham , like other places , would be dead without a High Street. Please shop l...

Waited 3.5 years for a Pub. That is nothing for how long waited for the Greyhound. Is it 35 years ?
Surely good it should be a community Pub.

Any one who uses internet shopping is a hypocrite crying after closed shops.
Amazon and their cohorts are out to destroy our High Street.
Please use our local shops.

Report him to Police .
There will never be enough parking places in Sydenham . Too many people have cars who do not really need them , especially now supermarkets deliver.

Are we nearly two and a half years late . Suggest it just be pulled down if nothing happens soon.
Certainly we need a new heading.

Thank fully very few as it was a disaster.
As a pensioner I do think the triple lock should have become double lock. The care charges should one have been better explained and two not in manifesto.
By the way I voted Lib Dem

I think the Sydenham Society did a great deal of good work especially in earlier times.
Sydenham , fortunately or unfortunately , not the same place demographically and not sure if the Society represents this
Good wishes to them anyway

So Nando's moving into Cobbs a lovely old department store I have good memories of .
Not sure Walter would approve , but what do I know.
Surely the Greyhound not going back to 2020 , must be a joke.

This seems to have even overtaken the Greyhound Topic and where , if ever , it would open.

What is equally galling is her colleague , Shadow Education Sec , has let cat out of the bag. She says Labour never said they would abolish Uni fees , only an ambition sometime in the future . It is my ambition Palace win the Premier League but not holding my breath. I wonder if Mr Clegg can advise ...

The fact is too many people in Sydenham have cars. The area was built for train travel and not cars.
Only by increasing charges will some give up their cars.
