Re: Support your local French bakery!

You know they have the monopoly in the kirkdale area let's face it Tesco croisants etc are crap!So I think they should make a bit more effort, afterall if you had made a special journey for there produce, you would be a bit annoyed to say the least if they were closed

Re: Antic pubs have withdrawn from the Greyhound

Why not skip the flats above and make another bar/restaurant then I think it would be viable. As it is now it would be really small to say the least !!! I think it is really the building company being greedy wanting to make flats above the pub, when all us sydenhamites want is a reasonably size pub a...

Re: Boot Sale on Sunday

I think that if the fees etc were going to Sydenham Community radio, they couldn;t have done very well out of only 6 cars!!! I also think all of the women at the entrance to the sale were very off putting {grabbing hands}.
Then to hear they want £15 next time around, to greedy methinks

Re: Boot Sale on Sunday

We went along to have a look this morning, that's all we did do didn't even think it was worth paying the entrance fee as there were only 5 stalls. Think there should have been more advertising, i.e posts on the greyhound roundabout. When Footsies did theres they had boards all up Sydenham Road. Com...

The gardeners worked very hard over the last two weeks, preparing for an inspection on Wells Park due to awards etc. On the morning of the inspection the road sweeper/hoover wa...
