Have you made up you're mind yet?

I have said that I have had enough of Labour and all of the stealth taxes which there are over 178 of them. The cost of living in my household has almost put me in the poor house and I am supposedly within the top 10% of earners in this country however this isn't enough if you want to own you're own...

In all the years that I have been playing music I have never had one complaint because I try to be considerate, I never play amplified during practice sessions and when I plug in it's never later than 9:00PM. It would be wrong of me to play scales and sequences amplified, Imagine a 4 hour chromatic ...

Happy New Year

Happy new year Sydenham Town Forum, Best wishes from Mikecg, Mrs Mikecg and the Micklets for 2010. Bloody hell is it 10 years. It's been an interesting year for me in many ways, I've been shot at, spat at, ridiculed and jeered at, intimidated and cheered for, hailed and championed, not necessarily i...

Your alright Ulysses, I don't really want to live in a place where every other house is a pile of bricks, burnt out cars and disgarded white goods are the norm either. I like the civility of an area where we all have common goals for the good of our community. It's just at the moment I cant help but...

I disagree about that location, I think some locals in the area are crying out for an alternative to the over priced butchers down the road, he will be under the spotlight when the shop opens but he could have played a masterstroke in regards to the location and he will have to deliver because the s...

Trust local authority Plod to ruin it, one of my mates, a keyboard player and a really noisy git works for the council with the noise pollution people. His db counter is a good tool though. It's amazing really how few live music venues exist now due to extortionate license fees, a bit like pubs, the...

I'm only 41 *Sighs* Ulysses and I suppose I'm too young really but the bands of the 70's are really important from a Rock guitarists point of view.

It's one subject few can argue with me about, well it's the only subject I really know I suppose ;-)

I really like the Floyd flyer with Mountain, Mountain were a great band and must have disbanded soon after this gig. Do you rember Weekend World with Brian Waldren? The theme tune was from the chorus section of a song called Nantuckett Sleigh Ride. Nantucket was a whaling community in the USA in the...

It's the gov't initiative to force everybody to go digital, they are reducing the analogue signal so that people will switch over. Having said this I know a guy who works there and they use all kinds of weird gizmos like bacofoil covered coathangers just to keep the signal going.
