Thank you all for your help and good ideas. Cat woman, have looked on Gumtree and the one I see repeated seems to have been first posted before the theft. But much appreciated. And yes I expect a wipe, but have to try. Maybe recoverable.

In for Wednesday. I posted on another part of the forum that we got broken into on Saturday. Please can you keep an eye out for a grey Toshiba laptop for sale in any cash converters. Had all our photos on.

Yesterday afternoon my house on Taylor's Lane was broken into. Amongst the items taken was an old laptop, 8 years I think.
