Woke me up as well, soon after 3.30 am

Sunday there was definitely noise coming from CPP from at least 2 pm. Loud base music and loud DJ. Quite a few comments about this and other noises on Nextdoor site.

Layout is no better at the Forest Hill end of Dartmouth Rd. Still get jams when buses are trying to negotiate the narrow road, especially when cars and vans are parked.

I've been seeing the lime e-bikes all over the place, not just in Sydenham. Saw one in Forest Hill today, and in the last week or so several in Penge and quite a few near Bromley South station. I wonder if they have been "acquired" and the gps system removed or deactivated.

I noticed today that they are in the process of removing the tanks.

Trunps helis have been over Lower Sydenham last couple of days. Today 7 came over at 7.45 am on their way to Stansted, then after he landed, 5 of them came back in smaller groups. Then this afternoon a couple went back towards the city, then returned about 4.30 pm . I got a photo of one just now, 5....

Stuart - your "rainbow" is called a sun dog. As you say, caused by ice crystals.

I went to Beckenham Place Park on Sunday, and yes the bluebells are on their last legs. But there are plenty of English ones, not Spanish ones. I was going to add a photo, but don't know how to.

It always used to annoy me that they had 2 self service machines, but on the few occasions I went in, neither were in operation. I was told they need a member of staff to monitor them, and didn't have any spare staff. Seems pointless having the machines.

Hope it has better success than the last 2 or 3 attempts!

I haven't been here recently so haven't tried the suspect fish. But I wonder if they are serving panga / pangasius fish, which is a cheap white fish often used instead of cod. If you Google it, you'll see it's got lots of bad mentions!!!

Does anyone know what happened in Forest Hill this afternoon, around 3pm......... there was a black Audi car that had gone into the railings outside the old Barclays bank, just down from Costa coffee. That strange thing is the car was facing downhill, i.e....

I've given up with the cafe, as you have to wait so long for the food, even when they are not busy. It's a shame as I used to eat there regularly. And I definitely agree that the stocks of fruit and veg are really low in the late afternoon. I've not seen rodents in the store, though I have seen them...
