I did wonder what the air-conditioning units which you can see in almost all internal shots would do for it's energy-efficiency rating. 'Good' to see that despite it benefitting from modern double-glazed sash windows it sets a new benchmark in it's non-green credentials being almost off the scale on...

I'm not sure where I stand on the Greyhound. Moving away from the issue of it never being a pub or hotel again and whether or not it had even been a decent pub for some time I am glad it will not be demolished even if I am slightly sad that the minton tiles/old hotel entrance seem to be 'done for'. ...

I don't know if anyone used to place any stock in the 20 Best and Worst places to live in the UK that Channel4 did each year, well it was independent but they would publish the results... The data was pretty robust and they would look at indices such as crime, education, employment, environment, lif...

Oh. I think the elevation tricked me. I presumed (wrongly) that the photograph was taken looking toward Sydenham Hill due to the high nature of the spire. When in actual fact we are looking 'down' Dallas Road and across toward the large bulding. I needed to spin myself 180degrees in my mind? Thanks ...

The link appears not to work any longer for some reason but I viewed it last night and it did seem to be that place. It's just that as it was in red brick I assumed it HAD been something and was now ramshackle rather than it having NEVER been anything in the first place. It does look like a gust of ...

Sorry for going ever so slightly off-topic Mr Gindlay but in the picture of the corner of Dallas Road...the church in the background?

It is probably perfectly obvious but I"m racking my brains at to which church it is...

Is it still in existance?

I doubt very much that Admin can stop the return of McLondres given that all one requires to join up is an active email address. Sure we'd smell him a mile off, not least because I think he's the only troll on the forum? Failing that his syntax would be a dead give away. I personally thought he got ...

Just to say that PM abuse is not acceptable. As its private I can't see it. If you think something is not acceptable please make it clear to the sender you wish to receive no more. If they refuse I will take action. Admin Thank you Admin but I've certainly been called worse! I'm not even sure if fa...

Hi Marathon, That's her. She did seem a good deal noisier than the smaller planes we tend to get. I'm hoping that it keeps to one par day which is mainly what I think I've noticed albeit only twice this week. I know I need to get out more but I was a little shocked when I first heard and saw her scr...

I think if I lock the doors and demolish that 47 selection within a week or two I'll be there in no time! Musn't forget to book the crane to get me ...

OK. Sorry maestro. I didn't see his deleted posts. I can tell you I had one PM from McLondres but it wasn't that 'naughty' - certainly I think his guns hadn't been trained on 'little ol' me' yet. I tried not to get drawn in but I just hoped he'd get bored of trolling - clearly not. I'm sorry his jin...

Aha. Mystery solved. Thank you for confirming that the one in Dacres Road is original tulse hill terry.
