....or maybe this thread is about ghost stories of sydenham and he/she was entering into the spirit of things? [no pun intended] Yes I thought the thread was a fun invitation to post stories of ghosts in Sydenham not a discussion of rationality verses pseudoscientific phenomena. However, as every r...

Stone-penge Still-Robbo; you are confusing the natural world with the super natural one. The laws of physics need not apply in the latter one.(and obviously don't) Yeah I'm odd like that, I prefer to see the beauty in what actually exists rather than flights of fancy. That isn't odd, just a bit sti...

I don't know about that store but a lot of stores and sites like that have been brought by the large supermarket groups to either develop into latenight shops (which destroy local shops!) or are left owned but undeveloped by them to prevent their rivals doing the same(which leaves the high street wi...

Hand bag snatch @ Newlands Park
My wife had her handbag snatched tonight as she walked home from Sydenham staion on Newlands Park. She's ok , just a little upset. The robber was a youngish white boy with a skinhead haircut on a mountain bike. The police said they've had reports of a number of these events recently. The robber came...

Keep up the good work folks! Wish I was running the British 10k with you, but I'm often round pounding the streets of Sydenham and surrounds, so will probably bump into you in training (hopefully not literally!). Sounds like a good route stone-penge. Actually that sounds like a long way - have you ...
