We've used the one nearer the station (think it's called House of Carpets and Curtains) a couple of times, including vinyl for our weirdly shaped kitchen. They've done a really good job both times, and we'd definitely use them again.

Ask Lewisham Archives to check a Kelly's directory for the dates you have. Directories show where terraces within a main road are. Failing that, an electoral register for the right date might do it.

Parish records will be at London Metropolitan Archives. Lots of them are on Ancestry, worth checking just in case.

Can anyone recommend a dry cleaner for a wedding dress? I've only just moved to Sydenham and haven't really worked out where would be good for that sort of thing!
