Re: Hideous new addition to Sydenham. I pay not.

I think its great to see the unit taken up, I hope it encourages other business to open up there. Personally I wouldn't want to get a tattoo but I am amazed at peoples commitment to the art sometimes, take a look.... http://alessioangiolini.wordpress.com/2013/11/03/the-coolest-tattoo-artists-in-the-...

Re: Sydenham Assembly - today 11am at Watlington Grove

The Greyhound Chris Best reported the Deed of Variation has been signed off by the council and is now with Purelake and the other signatories (the retail concession and Hexagon housing). It was hoped, but not promised, they would sign off by Christmas. The DoV has the effect of combining the respon...

Re: AGAS LITTLE CAFE: KIRKDALE

Are you talking about the one on Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill? Didn't really think of it as being in Sydenham but I agree it does a great coffee. I wish we had something this nice coffee wise on the high st. Montage a little further down is worth a visit too, more space at the back and a gallery spac...

Re: Wimpy gone

I can't understand how 3 betting shops can open that close to each other. So depressing for the high street. If people stopped throwing their money at them they wouldn't open I guess. Fingers crossed for the (slightly strange combo) Polish/Spanish store hope it has something new with quality. [ Post...

Re: WHAT IF 22: CLASSIC TROPHIES in KIRKDALE

I like the idea of racing green too, maybe with yellow accents like this http://vancouverisawesome.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/greenlotus.jpg I've only been in there once years ago looking for a Softball Trophy with no luck but they were helpful and friendly, main thing they could improve on is g...

Re: Co-Op down

Walking past there last night it looked like a total refit. The shelf orientation had all been rotated 90 degrees. It's looked a bit shabby for a while so this good they are investing in the store. I agree the staff here on the whole are friendly and efficient, hopefully they get a better range of s...

Re: Doctors Booking Procedures

+1 for online booking. You have to go there first to register. Once you figure out the Mensa tests of putting in the right codes etc it works. I It wasnt recently so may have changed, but I found appointments available from a week, usually two weeks for a morning one if you're not fussy about which ...

Can anyone post up contact details for who owns these boxes. I'm sure many people here would be happy to contact them urging them to get them removed? Don't know if it will get the job done but enough of us might make them think about it! [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://sydenham.org.uk/mobile...

Sydenham high street works
