Trattoria Rafaelle
Delighted to see that Trattoria Raffaele is currently in the top 20 out of 18000 London restaurants on Trip Advisor, not far behind the Ledbury, La Gavroche and Gordon Ramsay. Congratulations to them on this most well deserved achievement. Their food, warm and friendly service and attention to detai...

How about On the Hoof, Foxes or the Bricklayers Arms?
I would be happy to volunteer my services but I live in Penge, although I spend most of my time in Sydenham due to family having lived and still living there for many years.

Re: Golden Lion pub
Hi Richard
Has the pub advertised on Gumtree again? Or tried the website Indeed?
Are there any catering colleges where students would like to make cash in their spare time?
Perhaps a call to the local job centre?

Re: Golden Lion pub
I stand open to correction but it appears that the new Code of Conduct will come into force round about March 2016 and will be reviewed 2 years later. Tied pubs generally seem to have benefits such as rent concessions, property maintenance etc whereas pubs that are not tied do not have such concessi...

Choice of several dishes including soup or parma ham salad as starters and chicken breast and fish cakes. Can't remember other dishes but vegetarian included, as far as I remember. Quality ...

The Goldsmiths Arms, although open to the general public only from 4pm on weekdays, opens early on one day of the week specifically for mothers and toddlers for a play group or children''s classes, don't remember which. I think all mothers are welcome, whether or not paying for the class, and the pu...
