Fransfield Grove

Following on from the success of finding out some information on Mount Ash Road a friend has asked me to find out if anyone knows about the former warehouse facing the learning centre on the left as you turn up Fransfield Grove, before the current car park starts. It looks like it was once part of o...

Not sure if it is related Malcom but the glass in my house is incredibly thin. It cracked when we have some strong winds a month or so ago. Off to see if I can get the book tomorrow. So sorry to hear about your partner I am shocked how little people do to help others in trouble :(

We have moved from Hackney which I found a lot more intimidating than Sydenham but it is true that nasty things happen everywhere

Thanks very much for the photo I did not manage to make it show on this page either. Very interesting to hear that the bomb was in Panmure Rd as the house I brought has wall ties something I was worried about at the time but there has not been any movement for a very long time. The ceilings are wonk...

Thank you very much for the information I thought when I brought the house it said it was built in 1840 but not sure if this can be correct.

Melcome it would be wonderful to see the picture do you have a way to scan it?

Thank you for all the help :)

I was also at the bat and Moth safari and it was very interesting and enjoyable. I think sure they said that the one in Dulwich park is on the 12th August but I'm not certain. I think I read that in Dulwich park yesterday.. I missed this one as I had plans but will make sure I go to the next one it...

Thanks Lemonade I love it that from the top of Kirkdale you can see the city one way and all over Kent the other.. I was able to buy a beautiful house and this would not have been possible in other areas Sydenham has lots to offer I think its a bit of a hidden gem :)
