I have just purchased the book and I am looking forward to an interesting read.

I think the photo in the book of Mount Ash is the same as I one I had but I will need to check when I receive it back.

We have moved from Hackney which I found a lot more intimidating than Sydenham but it is true that nasty things happen everywhere

Thanks Lemonade I love it that from the top of Kirkdale you can see the city one way and all over Kent the other.. I was able to buy a beautiful house and this would not have been possible in other areas Sydenham has lots to offer I think its a bit of a hidden gem
