The first break-ins... Trewsbury Road were in the day time. Have the others been (in which case, of course, they are not burglaries but housebreak-ins).

There is a purpose to my question. I have a theory....

I am not sure that post should be on this site but for balance... Here, for balance, is a link to the website of one of our MEPs.

He is very available, easy to contact and he responds to correspondence.

Re: Burglary - Knighton Park Rd

I come from what was the lock making capital of the world (until we joined the EEC/EU which wiped the industry out). Chubb's had a saying. "The best lock we manufacture (even the most sophisticated electronic locks) will keep an honest man out. Given that it takes only moments to break through ...

You may think that. Businesses will see the downside. No space for a sign. Cheaply fitted. No storage area. No rear access.

Development on the corner looks like its pretty much finished. Anyone heard anything about what (if anything) will be moving into the ground floor space? I heard it will be for retail. Well a shop front is hardly likely to be residential is it? It was made clear from the original planning applicati...

Re: Laptop disposal

YOu do not rely on the disk concerned booting. You add it as an extra drive either by plugging into the appropriate socket OR using an external docking unit. Your current operating system is in charge and subject to a virus scan... You can then manage the content. Absolutely correct. I would never ...

You're more decisive than I. I have a small pile of crashed hard drives from over the years that I'm still deciding what to do with! Help please on one question: If a hard drive crashes so won't load, how do you load it to be able to wipe it? Some computer shops say they can, although arguably in t...

I’m very enthused by the idea of turning car parks into housing. Replacing big box retail with housing is what cities should be doing and what’s happening on Old Kent Road. However I’m keen to understand, how does this masterplan get reconciled with the fact this is private land? Have we seen much ...

Re: Beckenham Beacon Urgent Care Centre

OTOH, you can also get appointments with a GP there if your own surgery is overbooked, but only if your surgery has an agreement with them. (I've done it a couple of times when I've needed to see someone urgently and continuity of care wasn't a particular concern). I guess that probably requires yo...
