Re: What do you think?
Even a cockroach couldn't survive gas mark 6 for a couple of hours, as long as it is cooked properly you don't have to live in a mansion with a scullery.

Re: What do you think?
It's about ignorance and not knowing and has nothing to do with priorities. Yes ignorant about priorities. What would you do, Mike, to arrest this ignorance? Any kind of interference would, I assume, count as meddling, wouldn't it? I'm not against meddling per say, we're living in a world where peo...

Re: Sports Direct is next in line to arrive in Sydenham
The problem for many including me is that i don't want to give everything up and become a peasant farmer, but if we're talking about ethics then the only way to fully embrace it is to abandon the modern world and join some sort of comune and live in a tent like Cat Worzel and become one of the great...

Good luck with any campaign you'd like to start Rod. Primark have been stinking up society and killing people in sweatshops for years, the problem is poxy globalisation and the free market. I wish you luck in your quest but it's a waste of time because exploiting the poor to serve the poor to serve ...

Wouldn't this be amazing? :D http://www.building.co.uk/buildings/rebuilding-the-crystal-palace/5059036.article Many local CP people don't think so. a desolate waste land frequented by a minimal number of people and squatted by a few travelers from time to time? They seem to think CPP is OK as it is...

HB if for what ever reason you find yourself in a court of law be glad Eagle wont be whitness for the prosecution or part of the jury.
As for Tesco I wouldn't put it past them and they probably would if they thought they could get away with it.

Do people really believe Tesco are not guilty of exploiting cheap labor? Now may I ask you to cast your thoughts back to when they were guilty of offering experience only possitions to people who were long term unemploye without ever having to offer anyone a job? According to the Purelake website they are still excited by the project. Is this true? Unless we are living in a world where words mean the opposite of what they actually mean. Oh yes...the world of business, marketing, advertising, corporate sales & media. It really is a load of w***, isn't it...

For just one week only, I'd like to see you reply to threads (outside the Pub,obviously) only when you have something factual to add, something helpful to the OP. So, for example, this thread opens with a question. Do ...

As we're on the subject of wet farts, did you see the Thatcher funeral?
I don't think it was worth £10M?
We could have built a hostel to house 100 street drinkers for that amount of money.
