I'll be the first to throw a spanner in the works and say I can't make that date. The previous and following Sunday are okay, though.

I have a ball and some bibs that I'm happy to bring (though don't let that influence your choice of date!).

That's the one. My photos are of the area to the south east of the station; the car in the video heads north west from the station (the station is visible on the right at 0:06).

Recycling bins near Somerfield/behind Lidl

I live in a flat and take my recyling to the bins behind Lidl. But more often than not they're full, and sometimes overflowing. I emailed Envirocall at the Council about this over the weekend, and to their credit they got back to me by close of play Monday. Envirocall have 'requested' that the bins ...

Asked about the extension Johnson said: “I have ambitions in that direction,” adding that work was already underway to look at...

Some of us rather like supporting Reading. And just in case you were wondering, no, Palace can't have their old manager back - he's staying with us forever! :D

I cannot find a list of which 133 stores are not part of the merger but as the Co-op has a small footprint in the area I presume Sydenham will become a Co-op. Admin, you're absolutely right. The list of stores to be divested is at http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/mergers_ea02/579390/Coop-UIL.pdf (s...

Can anyone recommend a good property management company?

Hi All I'm looking for a property management firm who can oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the common parts of a small block of leasehold flats in Sydenham, and also deal with buildings insurance and ground rent payments. Can anyone recommend a decent firm, ideally based in (or with a good kn...

In fact, perhaps each shop could have a little blog, with a bit of background, a photo or two (from the bookshop gallery exhibition?), opening hours and email and phone details as a point of contact. The directory is already set up, but it's not up to date. Even better, given the appalling use of a...

You may find http://www.sydenham.org.uk/shopshop/ helpful. It's a bit out of date as some of the units have now been let. Nevertheless, it should give you an idea of some of the commercial property agents operating in the area, and no doubt you can search their websites for vacant units. Contact det...
