I agree. The majority of comments are supportive of the owner whilst also making constructive comments about shop frontages, Sydenham needs etc. I am not sure what is snobbish in the thread. Shop frontages make a difference to business and high street success

I agree. I do sometimes wonder if people find an available affordable shop space for whatever it is they want to open but don't necessarily think about appropriateness of position in relation to other businesses around etc. I am always amazed when yet another food shop opens in Sydenham! Still I hop...

Trouble is I suspect it puts some off commenting and giving opinions but I may be wrong. I think that debate can happen just as well without the unpleasantness which in some threads is unnecessarily offensive and personal

Billings is a brilliant example of very good signage but I wonder what the cost was. We need various options to suit all budgets and a way of getting to new shops opening to advise and support in advance! Don't know if that is possible or not. And it would be great if present shop owners could be ad...
