Did you have any information from the police as to what will happen? I didn't report it. I didn't see the point, nothing would get done about it... no one got their number as they'd parked 100 yards up the road, ran back to have a go at me then bravely ran off. I was actually more concerned about g...

Just back from Lewisham casualty after having my mouth busted open by a couple of 'gangstas' (and yes, they did use that word) outside the Two Half's. Note to others - if someone runs a red light at the crossing while you're walking across the road, don't call them *****... you might get a lot worse...

Well it's not East Dulwich is it, it's on the way to Catford. It was always a local no nonsense boozer before it changed hands. I've seen posts on here whining about the locals - 'customers in the bar area didn't really fit in (a bit rowdy)' and suggesting they go elsewhere. Maybe there's no call fo...

Re: school holidays
Can it be any coincidence that around midday there was a bit of a 'to-do' on a bus in Penge High St, just as the school summer holidays begin? One police van and one car were at the scene, with around 4 officers questioning witnesses. All passesngers were off-loaded the single-decker bus. When are ...

I want to like the Woodsman, and I want to support somewhere that's clearly made some effort to smarten itself up, but whenever I walk past it is deserted and looking anything but welcoming... I know what you mean - sticking wine lists and tea lights on tables does nothing for me. I'd like to know ...

I just saw this thread and it made me laugh. I think you're picking on the wrong forum! SE23.COM - like this forum- is very well moderated, conversation and debate are free flowing (within reason) and the modration style is pretty relaxed. If you want to see examples of how all-powerful over-moderat...
