No i'm sure it was not just for fun..but when you think about it flying a helicopter tracking villians and high speed police car chases must be quite good fun.. I'm sure when these guys and girls sign up its not to sit behind a desk

I was Mr Angry from Sydenham last night but now feel calm enough to use some comparisons. The road works up and down Sydenham Road have been going on for about 2 years with the promise of more to come. The net result of this puts about 15 minutes at each end of the day to my journey to and fromwork....

I'm speachless, is there any hope for businesses starting up in Sydenham ,I think the average life expectancy for a new retail business in Sydenham seams to be about 3 months. Either we dont support them or landlords strangle them..either a reasonable rent ongoing or an unreasonable rent for three m...

The butchers in Nunhead are very good plus you have an excellent fish mongers and bakers.. but on the downside its a bit of a trek and not very environmentally friendly. A few years back we had a first class fish mongers in Sydenham but they struggled to make it pay and packed it in.

Lets get real..Subway V the other fast food offerings in Sydenham..its a step in the right direction. Lets hope its little and often and that these businesses find thier market ,establish themselfs and pave the way for others to follow in the future.

I think we could take on any of the local towns for the sheer number of the above shops we have in Sydenham..

It was a very good butchers, no frills outside but a very good range of produce . We had been using it since it opened so its a real shame to see it go.
Still if he's true to his word he will be opening again some time soon ,lets hope its in Sydenham.

So stealth has nothing to do with it ? Of course I want to see criminals caught and prosecuted ,who wouldnt ?

It is incredible how anoying a police helicopter hovering above your house can be, I know our boys in blue have a job to do keeping the streets safe. At least a siren passes quickly.

There's a marble Sainsbury shop front under one of the pound shop frontage. Interesting thought that they had an old fasion shop in the high street once and have now killed the trade in bell green and lower Sydenham. It is a very interesting debate, I wonder what the residents of Sydenham know the building as. The reason I raise the point is that you could change the name of the building and find people continue to call it by its old name. This happens with pubs that either change name or become McDonalds fast f...
