Leaking plumbing and shower
Hello Soulfood
Sorry to hear you have the "Leakiest Sink!"
Just wondered if you could elaborate with the shower details.
Would it be an all electric, powershower, etc?
If you could also tell me where (if you know) the leak is and how severe?
I may be able to help.
All the best mate

Hello Lizzie
Hello Lizzie Welcome to the forum. I'm not too sure what you mean about the rainwater pipe. It should be OK for the pipe to exit onto a flat roof as long as the flat roof has its own guttering which will carry the water away. The water never actually goes down a drain, but it goes into a "Soak ...

Dampness
Hello Mel Firstly Welcome to Sydenham Town Forum. I hope you enjoy your stay here. Dampness in kitchens and bathrooms found within internal walls are usually caused by condensation. Condensation occurs when warm air comes into contact with a cold surface. Over a period of time this can result in the...

Has PC gone too far
Has political correctness gone too far? My personal opinion - YES. Political correctness was invented as a means of controlling people's minds. The theory goes that if you can put enough pressure on people by controlling what they are able to say, then you can eventually control what they're thinkin...

Hello people of Sydenham (No prizes for realising I'm not from Sydenham) In Croydon they introduced a new tram system which many slagged off before it opened. People said it would never work. (myself included) Many giggled saying they used to have a trolley bus system in the old days which was rippe...

Disclean
Hello Annie
Yes sorry it looks though you're right....Personally I'd go for the Brick cleaner version. Basically it's Formic Acid. Try applying it 1 part disclean to 1 part cold water. That should do the trick
All the best

Hi Annie I trust you've had a lovely holiday! OK the best thing to do is to visit a Builders Merchant. You can buy Disclean over the counter. Plumbing in a Dishwasher
Hello Aidy_b Plumbing in a dishwasher is quite simple. Domestic dishwashers require one cold water feed and one drainage outlet. You can purchase many DIY kits from DIY outlet stores. The water inlet is just T'd off from the existing cold water inlet and there is a waste outlet convertor which the o...
