Sugahill
Anyone know what's going on with Sugahill? Wandered past yesterday afternoon and it looks like they've shut up shop.

Re: Begging outside Sainsbury's local
There's one guy there who's a bit full-on with his approach to asking for money - he tends to just call out "Sir! Sir!" as I'm wandering out of Sainsbury's. Other than that, I say live and let live. They're only asking for money in the same way advertisers are asking for my money. In fact ...

Re: Noise from Crystal Palace festival
This seems to have been going on all day. I can still hear it, even though I am a mile from the park and it is 11pm. This is really very unfair and inconsiderate. Does the music need to be so loud? It must be quite literally deafening by the stage. Whereabouts are you based? There was a VERY loud g...

Re: fake Big Issue seller?
Around 2005, I used to shop at Sainsburys , in Forest Hill. Outside was a regular vendor, with ID and jacket. His name was Terry, and he was even featured in one of the issues. Terry disappeared a few months later, and was replaced by a, seemingly, Eastern European lady. She had no ID or jacket. Ev...

Cat feeding
Hello - I'm looking for somebody reliable to come and feed my cats twice a day whilst I'm on holiday for a week in August. Can anybody recommend somebody? Also do you know what the typical going rate for such a service is? Ta!

Hello
Can anybody point me in the direction of a good contact at either The Sydenham Society and/or Friends of Home Park?

No, not really. It’s a little joke! What’s that thing called when you use a bit of massively unnecessary hyperbole for the purposes of light relief?

Re: More bin outrage
Thanks all. I don't understand why this happens. Surely a Tuesday is a Tuesday regardless of whether the preceding day was a bank holiday?

Re: #RebuildTheGreyhound - pub to be rebuilt by April 2015?
Looking forward to having a boozer a few seconds walk from my house! Having had a look at the website, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed at the depressingly few vegetarian food items on the menu. In all seriousness, this old-fashioned kind of menu won't do much to draw people to ...

Re: Food and drink venues in Sydenham
It's a shame but I don't think there's anyone decent for food in Sydenham with the exception of Trattoria Raffaele. I go to Bona in Forest Hill for pizza and The Sylvan Post for a roast. Both ace!

Re: Waste Collection
It amazes me that they managed to do it pretty well every week, but they can't manage to fit everyone in every other week.... We used to have this issue when we lived down on Kent House Road. Weeks would go by with no bin collection. Eventually I got in touch with one of the local councillors and t...
