While on Sydenham high street today I called into Kente for refreshments. Yet another nice experience. Airly room, clean and bright. Little crispy salad in a warm bun and a nice cup of tea all went down a treat - amazingly all for less than £4!!!

Will certainly pay another visit.

I noticed today that Penge East has got the PAYG machines in place.

Don't forget this is happening this coming Sunday.

Also, on Saturday is the Peckham Rye Fayre.

The last time I was there the coffee was cold, there was shell in the scrambled eggs, toast cold then we had to wait about 15mins for the bill to be written. The girl then asked if we wanted to give a tip!!! "What a liberty!"
