Nothing more depressing than the approach to Sainsbury's Sydenham [on foot]... Acres of cars shunting to-and-fro, hordes of starlings and crows, bleak and windswept outlook... And then to be welcomed into the embrace of Sainsbury's...

How about a cyber pub? [No, not a cider pub...Though I have no objections...] Brilliant idea, what? The Twice Halfwit could be converted. Beer-proof keyboards [or merely covered with plastic sheeting] Alcohol-friendly screens. Folk [drinkers/customers] emailing one-another rather than having to list...

Empty shops...could be art. What is art? ...We all think we know, but... [Maybe this question belongs 'in the pub'...But, it is a serious question...] We have all seen so much ridiculous rubbish that the chatterers proclaim as 'art' and the product of creative effort... [and its all relative etc] On...

Yes, Gurkha's is nice. You are paying for 'nice'. Their 'Gurkha's lager is very nice, [and strong ...'Hic' !!] it is also pretty expensive.
Come to think of it, on balance...Garam Masala is better than Gurkha's ...

Gurkha's is OK...But I think a bit over-rated.

Garam Masala at the not-so-posh end serves a perfectly decent curry...and their okra really is second to none.
