GP services in Sydenham

Recent threads suggest that all GP practices in Sydenham and its environs are under increasing pressure in terms of demand, and that patients are getting increasingly fed up with the difficulties in getting appointments. I appreciate that this is a national problem. But does anyone know whether whatever the responsible local NHS body is has recognized and quantified the problem in Sydenham, considered whether it is exacerbated by particular local factors, and thought about any steps to alleviate it which might be taken at the local level?
