Sydenham Arts presents HOME FIRES at the Brockley Jack

Post by safdirector »

We're delighted to announce that we are transferring our WW1 play HOME FIRES - a powerful story of women on the Home Front - to the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre for 1 WEEK ONLY from Tue 28 April - Sat 2 May, shows at 7.45pm.

HOME FIRES formed part 3 of the epic community musical TILL THE BOYS COME HOME last July, and features an all-female cast. Combining original songs by Deborah Garvey, contemporary accounts and poetry and original drama, Lucy Kaufman's play explores the impact of war on the Home Front community. Till the Boys Come Home told the story of the gasworkers at the South Suburban Gas Company and their families, and Home Fires covers the period of 1915-1917.

Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to catch this unique piece of Sydenham-themed theatre at SE London's premier fringe venue.
