Ohhh, I'm there.

If you want to say hi, I'd be the one with the kid wearing a 1950's hat.

I'm over due a visit, but I'm glad it's being extended and is clearly an appealing place to have a swift one or two or five

Having read the latest tweet about this weekend's Thai selection I'm now feeling very hungry. Sadly I think Thai is a little too spicy for an early-evening tea at BR with the nipper...

I finally popped in for a swift half of Penge Porter, which was very good. It's a nice place, foot atmosphere, intimate, the food looked good, I'd definitely go back, if I get a chance. Perhaps with the Wise Guy.

What sort of time tomorrow (Thurs)?

Edit PS: I've just realised it's St Patrick's Day tomorrow. What's the Irish for Cheers! ?

a bit later than that for me 7 at the earliest till 8 (possibly 9 )

Slainte - I think is what you're after, pronounced a bit like 'slaintchyer' - but it depends on which part of the island you're from.

Popped in around 7 until 7.45 but none of the customers or the bartender admitted to knowing what STF meant - they probably thought I was on some sort of blind date  Incidentally, they used to offer wifi when I went in before Christmas but they don't now as apparently using theirs upsets the till I was told. (?)

Edit PS: Enjoyed the beer; I see they do cider so might try one of those next time.

I apologise - I went out with a couple of people from work, with the full intention of having one and then making my way to Beer Rebellion, however after 6 drinks, at 10.30 I realised this wasn't likely so went straight home.
I have a very sore head today!

*speaking quiety* No worries. Hope the sore head is easing up. It was busy but peaceful in BR so very pleasant.
